Schools For Tomorrow Conference: Building a Better Teacher

by Susan Ohanian

I've mentioned this before but here it is again: Sponsoring with the College Board the New York Times is putting on a conference titled Building a Better Teacher. I can't go: I'll be at a Building a Better Newspaper conference.

You can see the roster of speakers here. So far, Thomas Friedman isn't on the list. Probably they wouldn't pay his speaker fee. But otherwise, the same old/same old is here.

This conference is done "in collaboration with Richard Attias & Associates. Here is their mission statement:

Richard Attias & Associates is a strategic communications firm that provides private consultancy, idea initiatives and live experiences.

Our mission is to help leaders, corporations and nations build their global influence, catalyze innovation and lead the global exchange of ideas.

Here is the speech Laurence H. Summers gave at the last New York Times Schools for Tomorrow conference.
