A School Where Kids Wear their State-Designated Labels

Kids wear these state-designated labels on their sleeves, on their chests, on their backs. There is an elementary school in California where the kids who achieve proficiency on the state test will get to wear special t-shirts that say “proficient” or “advanced.”

What’s next? Tattoos on the forehead? Or will school authorities choose the more subtle inscription on the inside of the wrist?

I hope teachers and administrators in this school are required to wear their scores from the SAT, GRE, PRAXIS, and whatever damn test they've taken. Keep those scores on public display at all times.
