A Spearmint Test Effect?

Note: According to a herbal remedy site, Spearmint has been used for thousands of years as a pleasant way to support the gastrointestinal system, with particular emphasis on the lower bowel. The herb is said to relieve flatulence, indigestion, colic, irritable bowel syndrome, nausea, heartburn, as well as stomach, abdominal and bowel pains. This is one old home remedy that no one should be without.

But educators in suburban Detroit have come up with another benefit to be derived from spearmint.

A teacher at an elementary school in suburban Detroit said that her principals read that spearmint increases mental capabilities so they provided all kids on MEAP days with
spearmint flavored gum and for those kids who did not want to chew gum the teachers
were instructed to provide spearmint flavored hard candy.
