[Susan notes: This letter nails the hypocrisy of claiming the US doesn't have workers for high tech jobs.]

To the editor

I am a Hispanic U.S. citizen. I just learned that a relation from Costa Rica is coming to America on a H1-B visas for foreign workers, to work with HP in Texas, while I have a son and a grandson who are also computer experts and have a lot of schooling but who are unable to find jobs in the field.

The excuse that we need more foreign workers is just that--an excuse to get cheaper labor and more flexibility for the big businesses. Instead of giving more visas to these immigrants, we should stop any foreign workers until all unemployed Americans are back to work.

We need to put the interest of America and the Americans first.
