[Susan notes: Look at the horrendous Testing Calendar, the list of dates when DeKalb students will take national, state, and system assessments during the 2013-1014 year.

It's non-stop testing.

Then take a look at TKES (Teacher Keys Effectiveness System)

The TKES Implementation Handbook is 358 pages long.

Don't miss the rubric for rating teachers.

Dear Board,

What a profound disaster you have chosen for our teachers and children.

Where is one shred of proof that the use/overuse of standardized testing does anything positive for kids and teachers? There are no independently conducted, valid studies to support TKES (Teacher Keys Effectiveness System). None.

TKES serves one function: the taking (not making) of money by those in the testing industry. Its result will be the destruction of public education.

I hope that when next you attend your place of worship, you are forced to realize the absolute apocalypse you have wrought.

Jesus said, "Suffer the little children to come unto me." He didn't say to test them into the grave.

Shame on you.
