[Susan notes: It's good to get the privatization reality out there.]

The outcome of the No Child Left Behind legislation is to privatize education. When a public school "fails," parents are offered vouchers for private school in amounts that fall short of what is required for tuition.



Only the wealthier parents can afford to supplement that amount to meet the full tuition cost, so eventually, less affluent families will be the only ones left in a failed public system.
