Gym Class Isn't Just Fun and Games Anymore: Expecting little kids to do a one-arm push-up while building with Legos AND thinking about a new vocabulary word? This Common Core-run-amok version of multi-tasking seems not only bonkers but also dangerous. And I predict a big lawsuit when 8-year-old doing the one-arm pushup while building with Legos gets distracted by the vocabulary study, falls, and breaks off his two front teeth.
