NCLB: A Satire

Ohanian Note: Ironically, this just shows that satire is no longer possible. What once would have been conceived as satire is now reality.

A note from Professor Campbell: As part of my attempts to broaden the anti-NCLB message, I created the following scenario in Flash. It's a satirical attempt to illustrate how the best intentions of a good school can go awry and wreck what makes it a good school. It features a series of memos over the course of the academic year from a principal to the teaching staff at an elementary school as the school prepares for the state tests.

— Peter Campbell, Montclair State University
