No One Over Age 54 Need Apply

One doesn't need to have a Bachelor's Degree to become a No Child Left Behind tutor. Age is a more limiting factor.

NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND Tutoring Services

Become apart of the ASPIRA family and help our youth succeed by tutoring and mentoring students in math, reading, language arts, science and technology based learning. This is your opportunity to create a culture where children along with parents, teachers and volunteers are excited about learning.

Volunteers should have at least a Bachelor's Degree (not required) or some experience with youth especially in the areas of mentoring and tutoring. Experience with teaching and/or teacher's certification is a plus but not a requirement. Volunteers should have some knowledge of school curriculum standards such as the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards (CCCS). Volunteers should also be outgoing, creative and committed to the academic excellence of disadvantaged youth.

This opportunity is sponsored by: ASPIRA Inc. of New Jersey

This opportunity is available to the following types of volunteers: Adults (26-54)
