Watch Out for Those "Cultural Shifts"
"Our kids can't read, and it's not their fault," U.S. Education Undersecretary Gene Hickok told The Indianapolis Star Thursday. "Reading First changes the way we teach reading . . . It's a cultural shift."

Comment: It sure is--a shift from the culture of teachers teaching to the culture of the corporate-politico Standardisto decreeing a one size-fits-all curriculum.
