Why do people have such trouble believing the miracle in Texas?

A Haunting Fear that Somewhere Children are Happy and Their Teachers are Smiling. Indeed.

Another blogger, Bonnie, asks a provocative question, "When are they going to make Rod Paige and other administrators repay all the bonus money from bogus test scores?

Why do people have such trouble believing the miracle in Texas? Is it
because Dubya rode this district to the White House like a two-buck horse
HFT helped saddle? All of this...the bogus bonuses, the NCLB (a Haunting
Fear that Somewhere Children are Happy and Their Teachers are Smiling) is a
direct result of the Sam Houston High School meeting so many years ago when
the union and George announced his radical education reform. . . as if
retention was an affective weapon of mass instruction and the intrepid
performers weren't guilty of the second greatest story ever sold.
Privatizing....testing....deskilling of teachers...influence bartering...to
fix it teachers must become political activists ....use your bonus money to
support candidates who recognize the dangers of federalizing education. Vote
the bozo's out of office or stop complaining because it will only get worse.
