NCLB Outrages

The Public Rating of Congress

According to a new Gallup poll, public rating of Congress has sunk to a new low. 76% of Americans disapprove of the job Congress is doing.

Democrats take note: The public likes Bush more than they like Congress. What this new low rating means is that Democrats disapprove of the Congress almost as much as Republicans do. The American public voted Democrats into office because they wanted change. And look what has happened. Business as usual.

Congress could boost its rating by ending No Child Left Behind. But who on the education committees has the nerve to break away from the corporate lobbyists and do it?

Be sure to contact your elected Congressional representatives over the next couple of weeks, letting them know your view on NCLB. Get ten people you know to do the same thing.
