I am not making this up. Who could?

Go to the url below and you can see the Senate vote on NCLB by astrological sign.

That said, this isn't the final vote as ultimately, both Vermont Senators Patrick Leahy and Jim Jeffords voted against the No Child Left Behind Act on Dec. 18, 2001--when it counted.

I started this search to find out how Iowa Senator Tom Harkin voted. He voted "Yes."

Why care about Harkin? Tom Harkin has just been appointed as chair of the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Comittee, replacing Senator Kennedy.

Education Week says Harkin is "now the go-to guy in the Senate on both money and policy for K-12 schools, just as the reauthorizations of No Child Left Behind and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act are likely to get going."
