A Grassroots Campaign to Save Children from State Oppression

Susan Notes:

Don't miss your chance to be
a force of resistance and change. The price of
admission is only $7.

The Coalition for Better Education, Inc. (CBE)
has launched its annual grassroots campaign to
raise money for two billboards. This year one
is slated for Pueblo, and one for Colorado
Springs. The billboards will declare: "We CAN
do Something about This Injustice." And then,
alongside the No CSAP logo, "Opt out letters at
www.thecbe.org."

CBE, headed by premier test resister Don Perl,
has raised nearly half of the needed $3,000.
It's time for resisters around the country to
join in and put them over the top. Suggested
donation is $7, but, of course, more or less
will be gratefully received.

Send checks to

Every year, CBE launches a billboard and bus
stop campaign to inform parents of their rights
to exempt their children from the state test
and to inform them of the frightening anti-
educational atmosphere instilled by high stakes
standardized testing.
