Helping create one-to-one learning conversations
Here's a way to find a reading buddy that doesn't involve juggling hours, driving, or other impediments. Give it a try.
I̢۪m Scott Wales, and our vision at TheLearningXchange.org is to help solve this problem posed by Thoreau by sparking connections for reading and discussion. We invite you to place free classified ads for one-to-one learning and teaching. As more people begin using our website, we believe you will find a great "learning match," "study buddy," or "book-club-for-two." Why? Because we aim to make precision-matching easier (based on title of interest, desired commitment level, and more) for offline study and discussion. We endeavor to build an open network of people who want to learn or teach what interests them most.
We welcome anyone willing to prepare in advance for sincere learning conversations. Please consider signing up and making posts—our service is free, it’s simple to begin, and anyone can join. (Teachers with large or reading-intensive classes may find us to be an especially useful tool for aiding their students in preparing for class discussion.)
