Colorado Billboard Campaign: Status Report

Susan Notes:

How often do you get the opportunity to further the cause of education autonomy for just $5?

Dear Colleagues and hermanos de confianza:

Another silence breaker - but I'll make this very brief. Our billboard campaign to inform parents of their rights to exempt their children has reached the $1,000 mark. We need about $800 more for two billboards prominently placed along Colorado highways.

So if you haven't yet contributed, any amount you send this way will be very appreciated, even if it is $5.00. We also have absolutely no administrative costs -- Yes that is right -- absolutely zero. All the funds go into our account at the Weld Schools Credit Union here in Greeley, Colorado.

If you like, you can see what our billboards look like by going to our website at http://www.thecbe.org.

And every year more parents are learning the truth about high stakes standardized testing by stepping forward and acting intelligently and courageously by exempting their children.

So, if you could help in this mission, we can inch the wheel of history forward toward educational policies that begin to dignify the autonomy of our children and their teachers.
